G Bond Artificial Grass Adhesive

G Bond Artificial Grass Adhesive is a high-performance, single-component polyurethane adhesive specially designed for artificial grass installations. It provides strong and durable bonding for fake grass to ground surfaces, frames, and joining seams. The adhesive performs well in damp and cold conditions, making it suitable for both installation and maintenance work. It offers excellent adhesion for areas exposed to heavy foot traffic.

It is supplied in a green colour (RAL 6010) to closely match the appearance of artificial grass.

Formation:

G Bond Artificial Grass Adhesive is formulated without hazardous solvents or isocyanates. It delivers high tensile strength while maintaining safe handling properties. Please note that it contains N-(3-(trimethoxysilyl)propyl)ethylenediamine, which may cause an allergic reaction in sensitive individuals.

When to Use It:

It is suitable for use in most weather conditions, including damp environments. However, once applied, the bonded area should be protected from rain, water exposure, and freezing conditions for at least 12 hours to ensure maximum bond strength.

Where to Use It:

This adhesive is ideal for bonding artificial grass both indoors and outdoors. Due to its excellent water, heat, and weather resistance, it is perfect for installations around swimming pools, balconies, decks, patios, terraces, and other high-traffic areas.

How to Use It:

Ensure that all surfaces to be bonded are clean and free from dust, dirt, or debris. In wet or damp conditions, remove as much surface water as possible by brushing or shaking the grass.
Using a standard cartridge or mastic gun applicator, apply the adhesive in continuous beads along the bonding area. Apply firm pressure for the full duration of the curing process to achieve maximum bond strength, particularly in damp conditions. Wear protective gloves and avoid skin contact. Protect the installation from rain or water exposure for 12 hours after application.

Open / Cure Time:

The adhesive has a skin formation time of approximately 30 minutes at 20°C. It achieves around 85% cure strength within 6 hours, while full cure is reached after 48 hours at 20°C. Cure time may vary depending on temperature and humidity, with warmer conditions reducing curing time.

Storage:

The product can be stored for up to 6 months in unopened containers when kept in cool and dry conditions.
