Composite Decking – Terms & Conditions

These Terms & Conditions apply to all purchases of Composite Decking from Jan Click Flooring Wholesale Ltd, trading as The Artificial Grass Company Nationwide (“we”, “us”, “our”).

These Terms apply in addition to our main Terms & Conditions, Privacy Policy, Shipping & Delivery Policy, and Returns & Refund Policy. In the event of any conflict, these Composite Decking Terms shall apply specifically to Composite Decking products.

Nothing in these Terms affects your statutory rights under UK consumer law.

1. Delivery Timeframes

Standard delivery is typically 1–10 working days from the date of order, subject to stock availability and delivery location.

All delivery times are estimates only and are not guaranteed.

Delays may occur due to circumstances outside our control, including but not limited to courier delays, traffic, weather conditions, or stock availability.

2. Delivery Notification

Once your order is ready for dispatch, we will contact you to confirm delivery arrangements.

You will receive an email at least 1 working day before delivery confirming the scheduled delivery date.

Our delivery driver may contact you approximately 30 minutes before arrival, where possible.

3. Delivery Hours

Deliveries are carried out between:

6:00am – 9:00pm, Monday to Friday

We are unable to guarantee specific delivery time slots unless agreed in writing.

4. Delivery Requirements

Access

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure that suitable and safe access is available for delivery vehicles prior to placing an order.

We cannot accept liability for failed deliveries caused by restricted, unsafe, or unsuitable access.

Unloading Assistance

A responsible adult must be available to assist with unloading where required.

If no assistance is available, delivery may be delayed or re-delivery charges may apply.

Curbside Delivery

All deliveries are made on a curbside or front-of-property basis only.

Customers must ensure adequate space is available for safe unloading.

Once delivery has been completed, responsibility for the goods passes to the customer. We accept no liability for loss, theft, or damage occurring after delivery.

5. Delivery Charges

Delivery charges are as follows:

• England & Wales: £69.99
• Scotland: Variable (quotation required before ordering)

All delivery charges will be confirmed prior to order acceptance.

6. Samples

We strongly recommend ordering samples before placing a full order.

Samples allow customers to assess:

• colour
• texture
• finish
• suitability

before committing to a full purchase.

Samples are indicative only and may not perfectly match full batch orders due to natural production variation.

7. Risk and Ownership

Risk in the goods passes to the customer upon delivery to the address provided.

Ownership of goods remains with us until full payment has been received in full.

Customers are responsible for inspecting goods as soon as reasonably practicable after delivery.

8. Returns Policy

Due to the nature of Composite Decking products, we operate a strict returns policy.

Change of Mind Returns

We may accept returns at our discretion; however:

• the customer is responsible for return costs
• goods must be unused and in resaleable condition
• original packaging should be retained where possible

We reserve the right to refuse returns that do not meet these conditions.

Collection Service (If Offered)

Where we agree to arrange collection:

• collection charges typically range from £69.99 to £199.99
• charges depend on order size and location
• all costs will be confirmed before collection is arranged

9. Refunds

Returned goods will be inspected upon receipt.

Where a refund is approved:

• refunds will be issued to the original payment method
• refunds are normally processed within 14 days of inspection

Original delivery charges are non-refundable unless:

• the goods are faulty; or
• the return is due to an error on our part

10. Faulty or Damaged Goods

If goods are delivered faulty, damaged, or not as described, you must notify us as soon as reasonably possible after delivery.

We may request photographic evidence or inspection of the goods.

Where a fault is confirmed, you are entitled to a remedy in accordance with the Consumer Rights Act 2015, which may include:

• repair
• replacement
• refund

11. Product Characteristics

Composite Decking is a manufactured product and may naturally include:

• slight colour variation between batches
• expansion and contraction due to temperature changes
• surface variation in texture
• fading over time due to UV exposure
• minor movement if incorrectly installed

These characteristics are normal and do not constitute defects.

12. Installation Responsibility

It is the customer’s responsibility to ensure correct installation.

We are not responsible for:

• incorrect installation
• structural failures
• unsuitable subframe construction
• drainage issues
• labour or fitting costs

Customers should ensure installation is carried out in accordance with manufacturer guidelines.

13. Limitation of Liability

Nothing in these Terms excludes liability for:

• death or personal injury caused by negligence
• fraud or fraudulent misrepresentation
• rights under the Consumer Rights Act 2015

We shall not be liable for indirect or consequential losses including loss of profit, business, or enjoyment.

Our total liability shall not exceed the price paid for the goods.

14. Acceptance of Terms

By placing an order, you confirm that you have read, understood, and agreed to these Terms & Conditions.
